Real-time alarm monitoring across your equipment
Monitor equipment conditions and automatically notify operations teams when thresholds are exceeded or events occur.
What it is
The Alarm & Events Server continuously monitors real-time tag values and device performance against your configured thresholds. When a condition is triggered—whether it's a tag exceeding a limit, a device losing communication, or a meter event being detected—the system broadcasts notifications to your operations team via MQTT, email, and SMS. This keeps your team instantly informed of critical situations across your entire deployed asset base.
Key benefits
Reduce response time
Push-driven notifications eliminate polling delays. Your team gets alerts within seconds of a condition occurring, not minutes later.
Monitor across 11 event categories
Track system health, location status, device communication, tag values, quality metrics, meter events, and condition state changes—all from a single platform.
Flexible notification routing
Send alarms to MQTT for integration with external systems, email for management visibility, or SMS for critical alerts to on-call staff.
Persistent state tracking
Alarm state is saved to the platform database, so your alert history and acknowledgement status survive service restarts.
Capabilities
- Monitor real-time tag conditions against numeric thresholds (>, <, ==, between)
- Detect equipment communication failures and data read delays
- Classify and route meter events (DLMS, Modbus, etc.) as standalone alarms
- Re-notify operations teams on a configurable interval while conditions remain active
- Track alarm state and history in the platform database
- Publish all alarms as JSON over MQTT with SSL/TLS encryption
- Email and SMS routing with configurable recipient lists
